MAYLATH AG BMP PROJECT
TeamAg, Inc. (on behalf of the project sponsor, Luzerne Conservation District) is soliciting bids for the below referenced agricultural best management practices project, which is located in Luzerne County.
Contractors on this project will be required to comply with all applicable regulations including Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442, Presidential Executive Order Number 11246 regarding “Non-discrimination in Employment”, and other applicable Federal regulations. These requirements are explained within the invitation below and the bid package.
Please also note the following expectations regarding the execution of this project:
- Prior to signing contracts, successful contractors will be required to provide the following:
- Certificate of insurance based on the services or product provided
- Proof of registration with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Performance Bond
- Payment Bond
- TeamAg, Inc. will manage the construction of this project and perform inspections during construction to ensure that construction is done in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
- All project materials must comply with American Iron and Steel Act.
- Contractors are to provide invoices and Prevailing Wage certifications (LLC-25) to TeamAg, Inc. on a monthly basis.
- Construction is expected to start within 30 days of Settlement with Pennvest and is expected to be completed by 9/1/25.
- All subcontractors engaged by primary contractors must follow all the provisions of primary contractors.
- Upon completion of the contracted work, contractors shall sign a Certification of Performance that all work was performed according to the design drawings, specifications, and the Pennsylvania Technical Guide.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting for contractors will be held at 10am on January 24th atthe Maylath Farm & Orchard – 608 Rock Glen Rd, Sugarloaf, PA 18249.
Bids must be submitted and received by 4pm on February 7th, to Sarah Xenophon either via email (sarahx@teamaginc.com) or mailed to 120 Lake Street, Ephrata, Pa 17522 with Attn: to Sarah Xenophon.
Bids will be opened publicly at 1pm on February 10th at 120 Lake Street, Ephrata, Pa 17522 and also announced via email to interested contractors.
